4 Fast Pontoon Boats That Are So Sophisticated They Cost Over $300,000 Each

The words “pontoon boat” conjure up images of slow, square, family-friendly boats perfect for lazy days on the water. Pontoon boats are great for fishing, especially with large crowds, or for swimming and sunbathing. Their square design makes them easy to get in and out of the water with ease.
However, the humble pontoon boat has seen a small revolution recently. Some manufacturers design pontoon boats that can exceed 78 mph and offer luxury items such as full galleys, portable heads, and apps to control certain features remotely. As you might expect, luxury like this comes at a price. Let’s take a look at four pontoon boats that are over $300,000.
1.Harris Crown SL270
This deluxe pontoon is 29 feet tall and features a sculpted fiberglass body to give it a bit more visual appeal. Up to 900 horsepower twin Mercury Verado outboards are available, and joystick control allows for easy low-speed maneuvering.
According to Report Rob, the Harris Crowne SL270 will set you back $549,631 with Powered Sport Arch, twin Mercury 450R outboards and joystick steering. However, don’t be fooled by the unassuming exterior. Dual 425hp outboard motors will get you where you want to go fast. This family-friendly pontoon even comes equipped with a waterslide that exits from the upper deck on the second floor.
The main level features a massive 36ft deck, with plenty of seating and a galley equipped with a fridge and sink. If that wasn’t enough, there’s even a changing room with a portable potty, sink and shower. Cost is $370,318 with two Suzuki 350 outboard motors.
4. Manitou 27 XT RARS
The Manitou 27 XT SRW is powered by a pair of powerful 450hp Mercury Racing outboard motors capable of just under 78mph. Manitou’s V-Toon technology provides better handling and faster acceleration.
